Caregiver's Corner
2010 Theme: The Helping Hands of Our Caregivers
This year we will have a special place for Caregivers at Relay! The all
new Caregiver's Corner will provide caregivers a place of their own to
chat with other caregivers, get information,
and participate in special
raffles and giveaways. And we encourage you to write a message or
poem on a quilt block, to help create our first ever Caregiver's Quilt
to be raffled off at the 2011 Relay.
Come relax and be among friends.
Located at 171-173 Darrellyn McCormick Drive (at the corner of Sue Stone Way and Darrellyn McCormick Drive),
near the Information Booth. See
map. Please stop by and say hello!

The Helping Hands of Our Caregivers
By Ronda Bestle
Caregivers are special people,
who help us through our day,
When cancer shows it’s blinding face,
caregivers help us find our way.
We try so hard to cope,
and make it day to day,
A caregiver takes our hand,
and guides us all the way.
We devote this Caregiver Corner,
to give them all a hand,
For all the times they have taken ours,
to help us take a stand.
We take a stand against cancer,
because we know it can be beat,
We are all here today to show cancer,
it is going down to defeat.
We are thankful for our Caregivers,
and for their helping hands,
Because we know, with their help,
we can fight cancer hand in hand. |
Survivors are the heart of Relay ...
