Fight Back: Our Challenge to Team Captains
Last year we had about 85% of our Teams participate in our Fight Back Team Challenge. Those teams
incorporated a Fight Back message at their team campsite at our Relay For Life event. Because we
had over 100 teams participate, our Event Chair, John Fortman, good-heartedly agreed to wear a
grass skirt AND coconut bra for one hour at the event! It was a wonderful laugh--thanks John.
This year our goal is 100% participation! Our 2010 Event Chairs,
Jen Minard and Danika Sanchez, say they will NOT be wearing
grass skirts this year, but I'm sure we will come up with a fun reward for our teams! So start planning
your Fight Back message early this year! For help with ideas or more information, contact our Fight Back with Teams Chair, Laura Kelly, at
FightBack@SCVRelay.org
