LA Marathon

ACS has 27 runners participating in this year's LA Marathon. They are looking for volunteer help at the Marathon Expo held at Dodger Stadium on Friday night, March 19th, and Saturday, March 20th (this Expo is where all runners will go to get their stuff). This is a chance to meet the ACS runners! On Sunday, March 21st, there is a cheering stand to help the ACS runners finish the race. If interested in volunteering or cheering, please contact Julie Avina at Julie.Avina@cancer.org.
In addition, volunteers can help gather signatures to place the California Cancer Research Act on the ballet. For information on participating, please read this Advocacy Action Report. Come out with some friends, watch the race, celebrate LA, have a great time, and help with the fight to cure cancer!
